3/8" NPT plug for closing unused openings on custom, chopper, or sport style tanks. This plug closes these openings almost invisibly, because it has no screw head. Due to the conical thread, it can not be screwed in completely.
Assembly note: The NPT thread is a tapered or conical thread, which is self-sealing at low pressure. Nevertheless it should be used with Teflon tape (see item no. 18-0063). The plug is not screwed in completely. After "hand tight" please tighten a ¼ to ½ turn.
