This 12V ignition coil in OEM quality replaces the OEM coil #31614-83A, but unlike the original it is chrome plated. The coil is suitable for all models with dual ignition and carburettor, e.g. BigTwins built 1985-1999 (except Twin Cam and 95-99 fuel injection), and Sportster models XL built 1985-2003 (except 98-03 XL1200S).
